During Carnaval we get to see the ever so kind Emperor Camille (with whom I danced a few years back) and this year we had an unexpected surprise to have a girl as the Princess of the Carnaval: it is usually a competition between guys. I find it interesting how people reacted to the election (she was the only competitor!) and the guys there are pretty macho! But they accepted her all the same.
